I applied online and sent my CV to the recruitment team. I had a quick phone chat about my experience and was then invited for an interview. During the interview, I was repeatedly asked about my luxury experiences, and it was stressed that this was the primary requirement for consideration. Interestingly, this seemed to change if you knew someone at the brand, as one of the assistant managers for another store got the role simply because she was from the 'same city as the store manager,' her exact words. It felt quite hypocritical for such a great company.

Group

So, the first round was a group interview. It was led by HR, and there were two other people there: the head of digital and a manager. Honestly, it felt like a really weird process. The HR person didn't do a great job of explaining what we were supposed to do or what was coming next. We weren't really allowed to ask questions, and it was hard to know what to expect. I definitely prefer a more structured interview where you have a clearer idea of the steps.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • It was a group interview led by HR with the head of digital and a manager, which felt like a strange process due to unclear explanations and a lack of opportunity for questions or understanding the next steps, making me prefer a more structured approach.
