Data Analytics Intern
So first, there was an initial chat to see if I was eligible, they asked if I was in a degree program, if I'd be back in school Fall 2025, and if I was close to getting offers from other places. Then, I got an invite for the first actual interview, which was about the company and the internship, and they asked about my background, interests, tech skills, and future plans. I also had to do a Predictive Index Assessment, which is like a behavioral/cognitive test, and make sure I was dressed right and had questions ready. After that, there was a final interview that went deeper into the technical stuff and more behavioral questions.

Graduate Trainee Engineer
I went through the whole selection process. It had a coding test, an MCQ test, three online interviews, and then one in-person interview. I cleared all of them and was told I got the job. But then, they suddenly put me on hold without saying why. After a month of waiting, they told me I wasn't moving forward. It was super disappointing and felt unprofessional, especially after they said I was selected. I put in a lot of time and effort, and it felt like a waste. They could have been more upfront and respectful, especially with communication after the selection was declared. Hope they do better with candidate experiences.

Principal Software Engineer
I interviewed with Calix India, and it was a really good and helpful experience. Right from the start, everything was set up well and easy to understand. Gouthami from recruiting kept in touch quickly and clearly at each step, giving good details on what the interviews would be like, what they expected, and the schedule. The interviewers were nice, professional, and really seemed interested in my past work and experiences. The talks were interesting and made me think, covering both deep technical stuff and how to solve real problems. What I liked best was how we worked together in the interviews; it wasn't just about testing what I knew, but understanding my thinking and how I tackle issues. Overall, it was a great time, and I really valued the chance to connect with such a skilled and polite team.

Customer Success Intern
The interview process at Calix took a very long time, about 1.5 months. I went through all the rounds and cleared them. The HR told me my onboarding date would be May 19, 2025, and I got everything ready. But then, a few days later, when I followed up about the offer letter, they casually said they decided not to hire for the role anymore. I was already prepared to move for the job. They didn't even have the courtesy to tell me beforehand. After all my effort, this is how it ended – no communication, no explanation, and no respect for my time. They told me to be available ASAP, and then they just canceled the hiring without any warning? It’s really unprofessional and disrespectful. I expected better from Calix, but this was honestly one of the worst hiring experiences. I can’t imagine how they treat their actual employees if this is how they treat candidates.
