There were 3 technical rounds and 1 HR round, all of which I cleared. The HR discussion covered CTC and benefits, and we reached an agreement. HR initially stated they'd send the offer letter in 2 days, but then they ghosted me for two months, providing no updates until my notice period ended. I later found out they had stopped my offer due to running out of quarterly budget. They could have informed me earlier so I could have searched for other opportunities. The entire experience felt very unprofessional.

Coding System Design

It was a 4 round process, all technical interviews, including programming and system design questions. Some system design questions were based on real tasks that their engineers were working on.

The interview started late because the interviewer was not on time, and they called me on my cell phone to start. It would be good if interviewers checked with HR about delays. The first question was a system design question that turned into an algorithms discussion. It would be better if the question type was stated clearly upfront. Also, a question about why I am leaving my current job felt more like an HR question than a technical one, as I expected to be asked about my technical skills and problem-solving abilities. The technical panel could prepare better for more productive outcomes.
