I was contacted by Internal TA, who called me unscheduled and wanted to proceed immediately. After a two-week ghosting period, TA reconnected, apologized, and asked for my availability again. I responded quickly, but was ghosted for another two weeks despite following up twice. I then received a general rejection via their ATS. My suggestion is to train your TA Team on basic response standards and SOPs. Wasting people's time is unprofessional and costly.

First, I had a Zoom call with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, then peers from my team and other teams. After that, there was a panel interview, followed by an interview with the VP, and finally a wrap-up interview with the hiring manager. I got positive feedback a week later, but then they kept me waiting for 2-3 weeks saying an offer was coming. Eventually, they said they needed someone in person and not remote, which didn't make sense since we established remote work from the start. I liked the people I interviewed with, but the lack of transparency and communication at the end made it a bad experience.

Technical System Design

I had a really good interview with a Senior Technical Manager. They really drilled down into my technical skills and past work, asking direct and clear questions. Some basic architectural questions relevant to their system were also part of it. I thought the whole thing went great, honestly one of the best interviews I've been through, even though it didn't end with an offer.

  • What are your thoughts on simple architectural questions pertinent to our system?
