First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Caesars Entertainment.
Analyst
Four rounds in total. First, a recruiter call to screen me. Then, a 60-minute SQL coding interview. After that, an interview with the hiring manager involving problem-solving and case studies. Lastly, a STAR interview with HR. The SQL part was pretty straightforward, using 2 tables and 11 questions. The problem-solving was a bit tough but fun to figure out. Make sure to be prepared to talk about your resume, especially any business metrics you've listed.
- In SQL, how would you identify the most recent and the second most recent enrollment dates?
- Using SQL, how would you find entries where the average bets exceed 100?
- Suppose this month's revenue is lower than last month's. What steps would you take to determine the underlying cause?
Executive Casino Host
There were 2 interviews for the Executive Casino Host role. The first was with the PD manager, covering basic questions about yourself, your interest in the position, your understanding of the role's goals, and your relevant experience. The second interview was with the PD Manager and the General Manager. They asked similar questions to the first interview, but also delved into how you would add value to the property and guests, and how you would drive revenue, asking about past revenue generation. Both interviews lasted about 30 minutes.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What makes you want to be considered for this role?
- In your opinion, what is the primary objective of this position?
Marketing Specialist
A marketing manager reached out via email to schedule a brief 15-minute introductory phone call. Following that, I had a 45-minute interview with the same manager and another interviewer. They asked pretty standard questions. At the end, I was informed I wouldn't get an update for about 3 weeks because they were interviewing many candidates. Three and a half weeks later, I heard nothing, so I emailed the interviewer. Unsurprisingly, I was told I didn't get the job and that "the rejection email from HR must have gotten delayed." Unbelievable! I asked for feedback politely, but was just told "we identified candidates that were a better fit." Oh well, not shocking given the current job market...
- If you were to embody a brand, which one would it be and what would be your reasoning?
Senior QA Automation Engineer
The interview process was super fast. I applied online and a recruiter reached out right away. First, I had a 45-minute technical interview. Then, about two weeks later, I had a five-hour session with two more technical interviews and three behavioral ones. Some of the behavioral questions were a bit repetitive, but overall it was a good experience. I got the offer the day after the last interview. Big shoutout to the Talent Acquisition team, they gave me great tips before the interview and kept me in the loop the whole time. Really appreciate that these days.
- Can you solve the 2 Sum problem?
- Describe how you would build a small automation framework using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and RestAssured.
- Design a visual schema and corresponding test cases for testing an elevator.
