I got contacted by a contact on LinkedIn for a chat about a job that was open, and it seemed like a good match. After applying, I was set up for a follow up with the hiring manager. I was told they were trying to hire fast and would reach out soon. It's been over a month and I haven't heard anything back, good or bad. The job is still posted, and has been for months.

I applied and didn't hear back for about three weeks. Then, I got an email saying I was selected for a panel interview. They only gave one date and time, no wiggle room because it was with a big group. The panel/group interview had about 15-20 people. After they asked us questions, the interviewers left to talk and then came back to tell us if we moved on. Everyone in my group made it, so we immediately had a one-on-one interview right after. The whole thing took about two hours. After that, I waited about a week and then got contacted for a second interview. This one was with two other people from HR, not the hiring manager. I never heard anything back from Horseshoe after that. I figured they were just slow to respond, since the whole process had been dragging, but they never even told me I didn't get the job. I thought that was really unprofessional, especially since I took time off work to meet with them.

We had a group interview where we took turns talking about ourselves. Then, we had to answer some questions about a specific problem and the best way to approach it. After that, we worked together to solve a challenge as a group. Finally, there was a 1-on-1 interview.
