I had a phone screening with HR, then a virtual meeting with the senior manager. They sent me an assignment the day before the interview that I had to complete 24 hours in advance, and it included a presentation. I thought I would have to discuss it during the interview, but it wasn't brought up at all. After that, there was a panel interview with the team. I was told the job would involve a 6-month training period and logging on to check emails on weekends. I was rejected the following week. The role has been reposted multiple times since then, suggesting they're unsure of what they need.
It was professional, but the experience can change depending on the specific 7-11 store. Corporate stores might have more technical interviews with more questions than other large companies. They also check if you are of legal age, as being 21 is required in California.
I had technical questions about software development, specifically iOS for my interview. I also had to do a Leetcode problem in a Swift online IDE.
