Candidate-reported interview process

It was professional, but the experience can change depending on the specific 7-11 store. Corporate stores might have more technical interviews with more questions than other large companies. They also check if you are of legal age, as being 21 is required in California.

The interview was really quick and straightforward, nothing you wouldn't already know. It mostly focused on personal experiences, not really technical stuff like 'do you know how to use X or Y'. They did ask about using the system for customer transactions, clocking in and out, and how to operate things like slurpee machines.

The interview was pretty laid back, happening right there in the store with the manager. We just chatted for about 15-20 minutes. They wanted to know about my availability, any customer service background I had, and how I'd deal with different scenarios. It felt more like a chat than a real interview, and the manager seemed focused on if I could be relied upon and if I was flexible with my hours.
