First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Workfront.
Art Director
I did a phone call with a recruiter first, where we talked about the basics of the job and the salary range. Then, I had a phone interview with the manager. After that, there were two in-person interviews: one with the team and another with the manager.
- What's your approach to managing stakeholder requests that seem unreasonable?
Implementation Consultant
The recruiter from Workfront reached out on LinkedIn. We quickly connected on Thursday. Then, on Monday, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, which went well. They scheduled a follow-up video interview with another manager on the team for the following Thursday. That interview also went well, and I was told they'd be in touch for next steps. A few days later, I emailed the recruiter for an update, and then again a few days after that. About a week and a half went by, so I tried reaching out to the hiring managers. One of them sent an out-of-office reply confirming their email address was correct. After that, I tried contacting the recruiter via LinkedIn. Throughout this whole time, I never heard back from anyone at Workfront.
- Can you explain your implementation process?
- Tell me about clients you have worked with previously.
- Can you share examples of clients you have supported in the past?
Sales Representative
First, I had a phone chat with a recruiter about general stuff. Then, I spoke with the Sales Manager on the phone who asked me about sales and also some general interview questions. After that, I went onsite for an hour, which included a tour and meeting with different Sales Managers from the teams for about 20 minutes each. The VP of Sales was supposed to join one of the meetings but couldn't make it. Because I missed the onsite with the VP, I had a 30-minute call with them later. Finally, the recruiter called to say I got the job and asked if I was still interested. Everyone was super nice. They even set me up with a current female DSR who used to have no sales background, which was really helpful and made me sure about taking the job. It's a great company!
- Can you share an instance of a recent failure, how you dealt with it, and the lessons you took away?
- What sales experience do you have that makes you a good fit for this role?
Client Solutions Manager
I was contacted by the recruiter pretty fast. Talked with him and he indicated he wanted to set something up with the hiring manager and would get back to me. Then, I didn't hear back for a month. I finally got a text saying he was ready to set it up. I had sent him a couple of follow-up emails and texts in that time, and they were never responded to, but it was over the holidays, so I wasn't too surprised. The video call was scheduled with the hiring manager. I thought it went really well, and she said she'd like me to come in for an in-person interview. I waited to hear from HR... nothing. I followed up multiple times with emails and even a text... still nothing. We are now almost a month out again. I am assuming this position is filled and I didn't get it. That's fine, but it seriously takes 2 minutes to answer an email and say 'I am sorry, we have had some delays and aren't ready for the next step in the process' or 'Thanks for applying, you didn't get it' or whatever is appropriate. It is too bad because this is actually a company I have been very interested in becoming part of, watching for openings, etc. But I am not sure if this is typical?
- Can you tell me about your past experiences?
- How would you approach specific scenarios?
