The interview process was a mess. They messed up and failed me in the tryout before I even took it, putting someone else's failure on me. After I chased them, they finally admitted their mistake and let me take the tryout, which wasted about 10 days. After the tryout, which was basically the last step, they didn't even tell me if I passed or failed, though I'm sure I passed because it was easy. When I asked about the results again, they told me the position was filled, even though I'd met all the criteria for weeks. They should have told me the position was filled when they made the initial blunder. It felt discriminatory and disappointing due to their unprofessional and incompetent behavior. I have email proof. Other companies for similar jobs are way better.

So the role is about building BI reports and doing business analysis, mostly focused on KPIs, revenue, and quality performance for different clients within a dedicated team. Data cleanup is also a big part of it, and sometimes you'll need to present your findings to the operations team.

The interview process started with a really quick call from the recruiter, then there were two tests to follow, and it finished with a final call with the Vendor Project Managers. I was contacted and had a video call with the recruiter within just a few hours, but after the final interview, the wait was super long. They wouldn't give me a timeframe because, apparently, that's sensitive info. They went completely silent after that. My interview was on a Wednesday, I emailed them the next Thursday for updates, and the recruiter replied Friday saying they'd update me by Monday, but didn't until Tuesday – so it took like 10 days. I then asked for feedback, and it's been total radio silence since. It's not what I'd expect from a company that seems 'professional'.

I applied for the Business Development Manager role in London and got shortlisted. HR connected me with a great lady who was keen to know about my background and what I could bring to the company. The second meeting with her was really good. After that, I moved to the third stage, where I spoke with a senior manager. He didn't seem very interested in my experience or why I wanted to join Welocalize. He seemed rushed and clearly wanted the meeting to be over quickly. He looked completely bored. Besides the usual questions, he talked about how hard the market is and suggested that a salesperson couldn't achieve much. It was surprising! If that's how they felt, why were they even looking for a salesperson? HR later got back to me with a standard reply, saying they decided to go with another candidate who was a better fit for the Localization BDD role.
