Technical

This is a cold selection process, you will only deal with AI, automated chats, emails, and forms. The test and the materials to pass it, if anything, are sufficient. You will do several tests, identical to those you will have trained with, and in an afternoon you will know if you have been hired or not. Their billing method, at least until 2022, was quite uncomfortable.

I applied for this remote job online. I was selected to move forward and was given training material to get familiar with the tasks. Almost right away, I sensed something was really wrong, as many of my common-sense decisions were rejected by their system. It appears they're actually looking for a human to validate and confirm their AI's choices. This AI, as expected, often makes illogical choices. For example, in what scenario would an ad for multi-million dollar mansions be considered 'not egregious' for someone looking for apartments? And in what world would a website specifically for petite women NOT be considered 'excellent' for a petite woman searching for clothes? Welocalize apparently disagrees, and their entire training and exam process was filled with examples like these. I didn't even bother to finish the exam; it felt like a huge waste of time.

After submitting the application, they will contact you via email with all the information needed to proceed with the application. They were very kind and professional. If you don't have a VAT number (Partita IVA) and the necessary tax code (codice Ateco), they'll ask you to contact a CAF or accountant to arrange for opening one, as it's not possible to proceed without it.
