First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Visagio.
Management Consultant
Applied online and then received an online test 5 hours later. The test had 7 parts. The math section was difficult, but the supply chain and management theory parts were fairly easy. The last part was a prerecorded interview, which I skipped because I don't think it's an efficient way to evaluate candidates for a client-facing role. It's hard for people to show their personalities on camera. I'd be skeptical of a consulting company that uses this method, especially since even Amazon uses live interviews.
- Could you tell us a bit about yourself, including your interests and values, and explain why this role is important to you and why you'd be a good fit?
- The 4Rs are Results, Relationship, Resilience, and Reputation. Which of these do you think is most important and why?
- Is there anything else you'd like to share or any feedback you'd like to provide?
Intern
The first step was the Gmat, which was pretty easy. Then there was a dynamic assessment that most candidates go through. After that, I had my first interview which was a case study and a fit interview. My second interview was also a fit interview. My experience was a bit different because I'm in Italy, but I had two interviews. The dynamic assessment is easier than the case study.
- What makes you want to work at Visagio?
- What led you to choose consulting?
Consultant
The interview has two main parts: Case Study Questions, where they will look at your market sizing, profitability, and business problem-solving skills. You should be ready for logical reasoning, structured thinking, and basic math. Then there is a Personality Assessment to see how you fit with the culture, your communication, and your problem-solving style. They might ask about teamwork, leadership, and how you handle challenges.
- What's your estimate for the daily coffee cup sales in Sydney?
Data Engineer
The interview process had 5 rounds, excluding the HR screening. It started with an assessment, followed by L1, L2, L3, and finally a managerial round (L4). The focus was on Spark concepts, Scala coding, challenges faced in projects and their solutions, and potential cloud-related questions if applicable.
- Can you discuss scenario-based questions related to Scala and Spark?
- Tell me about challenges you've faced in a project and how you overcame them.
