First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Veritas Technologies.
Financial Analyst
The company has very bad communication. They say 'I will be in touch' but then nothing after a half-day onsite interview. The first round was a phone screen with the hiring manager. The second round interview was with the team. The hiring manager was sick, but instead of postponing the interview, she went ahead with it, resulting in me and my entire family being sick for over a month from her nasty cold. Who knows how many people she has gotten sick in the office. Very selfish and unprofessional.

Account Manager
The recruiters were really engaged and got straight to the point. Over two weeks, I talked to several people one-on-one: the country leader, a channel manager, and a pre-sales manager. I really liked how fast things moved. Later, I met with them again, along with HR, for a panel presentation I did. They really grilled me on my sales knowledge and drive, and I had to present my sales approach, explaining how I've done it in the past and how I would do it if I got the job. It was tough, but in a good, professional way.

The interview process is key to picking the right people. It helps us see if you fit with the company's vibe and what we're trying to do. How it goes can differ a lot depending on the job and the company. Some might have you in for a bunch of in-person chats, others might decide after just one meeting. Interviews can happen face-to-face, over the phone, through email, or video calls. Usually, you'll go through two to three rounds before they make a final offer. The process generally starts with introductions, some small talk, and then gathering information.

Software Engineer
First off, they look at your resume to see if you're even qualified. If you pass that, you might get a skills or personality test. Then there's a quick phone chat to see if you're a good fit and why you want the job. After that, it's usually an in-person interview, could be 30 mins to an hour, where they ask more detailed questions about your experience and skills, and maybe some behavioral stuff. Sometimes they'll have a panel interview with a few people from the team and HR. If you do well, you might get called back for a second interview, which is usually more in-depth and could have more tests. Lastly, they'll check your references before making a decision.
