First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Veritas Technologies.
Software Quality Assurance Engineer
The interview process is key to picking the right people. It helps us see if you fit with the company's vibe and what we're trying to do. How it goes can differ a lot depending on the job and the company. Some might have you in for a bunch of in-person chats, others might decide after just one meeting. Interviews can happen face-to-face, over the phone, through email, or video calls. Usually, you'll go through two to three rounds before they make a final offer. The process generally starts with introductions, some small talk, and then gathering information.

The panel consisted of 2 people. Recruiters provided support but weren't as proactive with follow-ups as they could have been.
- Can you describe the testing life cycle?
QA Engineer
Had a nice interview process with in-depth questions on synchronization and data handling. They asked Java code and SQL questions. Also asked about myself, my projects, and how to sync data at 2 locations. We discussed the difference between sync and copy, why sync is better, and what checksum is.

- Could you write some code to demonstrate synchronization?
