First off, they look at your resume to see if you're even qualified. If you pass that, you might get a skills or personality test. Then there's a quick phone chat to see if you're a good fit and why you want the job. After that, it's usually an in-person interview, could be 30 mins to an hour, where they ask more detailed questions about your experience and skills, and maybe some behavioral stuff. Sometimes they'll have a panel interview with a few people from the team and HR. If you do well, you might get called back for a second interview, which is usually more in-depth and could have more tests. Lastly, they'll check your references before making a decision.

The whole thing was pretty smooth and well put together. First, I chatted with an internal recruiter for some basic screening and to go over my background, skills, and what I'm looking for career-wise. Then, I had a chat with the team manager, which was non-technical. It was a good chance to talk about my experience and ask tons of questions about the company, what they build, their tech, etc. It felt really chill, and the manager was super friendly. They seemed really keen on seeing if the role would be a good fit for their team and also for my own career path. Lastly, I had a technical interview with a Senior and Principal engineer. It was about 20% coding and 80% general tech talk. Again, the vibe was really relaxed, and I never felt like they were trying to trick me with tough algorithm questions.
