After an initial chat, I had a phone screen with the hiring manager and someone from HR. Then, I went in person for an interview with the Manager, the VP, and an HR person. It was pretty relaxed. We also got a tour of the building after the interview.

I had a phone call and then two in-person interviews. I talked to a few different people, and a regional manager too. It felt like a really thorough and professional process. They made a decision within two weeks, and it was pretty competitive at the time.

I was told I did everything right, but I didn't get the job because the conversation was "dull" compared to the two other interviews. It's a beautiful campus though. Some teams seemed welcome and waved hello to me others were not as welcoming. You might like the job if you worked at the textiles department, but then again, I don't know?

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • The interviewer asked about my 'designer eye'.
  • They kept asking me if I still had my job.
  • One interviewer suggested I should go outside more.

The interview process began with an initial phone screen, followed by an on-site interview. This on-site portion included meeting several staff members and a site tour, lasting several hours. It was a very positive experience. I was informed the team was moving fast and I'd hear back within 10 days. After a week and a half, I followed up and was told they were interviewing more candidates and would be in touch. Two months passed, and I received a standard memo stating I wasn't selected. The position is still advertised four months later. I was really excited about this role, but now I'm disappointed by the unprofessional hiring process. They've missed out on a potential employee and a customer.
