I was already working at the store in a different position. The Store Manager approached me when the Assistant Manager job was open and said I would be a great fit for the job and should apply. You then apply online via the company website. After several weeks, a date and time was set for a phone interview with the District Sales Manager. I was scheduled the day of the interview, so it took place in the backroom of the store. It was very difficult to keep focused and hear due to the fact that the stock associates and other sales associates were in and out of the room, hearing the entire conversation. The only other option was to go to the Food Court on my cell phone, with music playing over the loud speaker and people eating etc., due to the fact it was the lunch hour. The questions all related around customer service and the Company's core values.

It's pretty selective. You start with a phone chat with HR. Then, if they think you're a good fit, you might talk to the District Manager on the phone again. If you're really in the running, they'll bring you to the home office for a few in-person interviews.

I sent my resume online through a third party. The store's General Manager emailed me later that week and set up an interview at the store. It lasted about an hour. The second interview was with the District Manager over the phone. I got offered the job that same day.
