First, I had a phone screening with a recruiter where they asked about my experiences and abilities to see if my background and knowledge were a good fit for the role. Then, I interviewed with HR and the technical team lead. They asked about my personality to check my communication skills and how I handle various situations. I also had to discuss my past technical achievements and experience. Additionally, I was given a written test to assess my C language knowledge and skills.

First, I was contacted by a recruiter who presented the job. Then, there was a quick phone interview/screening. After that, I interviewed with two sales managers at their local office in Chicagoland. A follow-up interview occurred, and I received a verbal offer. Following a security check, fingerprinting, and a drug screen, I reviewed the benefits and the poor territory, and then decided to move on. The recruiter was quite unpleasant about my decision and tried to persuade me to accept.

The interview for the Contract Administrator role lasted an hour and was conducted professionally. I spoke with the manager about my resume and the job's responsibilities, which involve supporting the transition to a B2B System. We also covered my qualifications, Excel proficiency, and interpersonal skills needed for the management system. This position was in a department that, like most at Tyco's Princeton location, was eventually downsized.

HR reached out to me directly. We had three interviews: one with HR, one with the direct manager, and another with a peer manager. The first interview was a long phone call, and the last two were in person. The interviews felt relaxed and conversational. They asked about both technical and soft skills, with a focus on soft skills for the role. The in-person interviews seemed to go well, but I didn't get feedback afterward. I had to call to find out that the job was moved to the US and no longer available in Ireland.
