Customer Service Representative
The hiring process is quite fast after you get the interview offer, you're almost guaranteed the job. It's a single interview where they'll ask you a couple of questions in Spanish and then some general interview questions in English. For me, it felt more like a formality since they practically handed me the job. I was an internal hire, so that might have influenced things.
- Could you tell me about a recent movie you watched? (in Spanish)
Recruiter
There were 2 stages in the interview process. First, an HR Interview, and then a Hiring Manager interview from the United States. The HR interview was conducted over Google Meet. My interview with the Hiring Manager, who is based in the US, and also someone here in the Philippines, started with a chat about my personal life. We found some common ground, which made the interview feel more casual and less formal. This helped calm my nerves while we were talking.
- How do you manage stress?
Claims Representative
So, the way this worked was a pre-recorded interview. They gave you questions, and you had to record yourself answering them. The company did give directions on how to answer the questions. There was also an assessment you had to complete before getting to the interview part.
- What makes you want to work remotely?
- Can you share your experience in a call center setting, specifically with handling insurance claims and explaining claim denials to customers?
- Could you tell us about your most recent or current employer, your responsibilities there, the duration of your employment, and the reason for your departure if you're no longer there?
Digital Product Specialist
The first interview was super quick and easy, just general questions from HR. I got a call back in a few days to schedule the second interview with the hiring manager. It was a pleasant, easy chat with no technical questions. The manager said they'd get back to me by Monday, but I didn't hear anything. On Friday, HR let me know they'd update me by Monday. I had to reach out on Wednesday to get an update and was told an internal candidate was hired. It's funny they didn't send an automated email to let everyone know the job was filled, especially since they talk so much about their company values. The interviews themselves were fine, but the waiting and unkept promises were disappointing.
- Can you tell me about an app you use and suggest improvements for it?
