Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Transcom WorldWide.
Sales Representative
The interview process starts with an online interview, followed by a selective training period. They explain the product to you for 7 days, and then they decide if you continue. After that, you start selling the product without much support.
- What is your sales and customer experience?
Sales Representative
It was a pretty straightforward interview process, with the usual questions like 'Why should we hire you?' and 'Why do you want to work for Transcom?'. Make sure you have your resume handy because they refer to it a lot.
- Can you share an instance where you let a customer down and explain the steps you took to ensure it wouldn't happen again?
Sales Representative
The interview started with a quick sales pitch for a few items and some basic questions. It ended abruptly due to my qualifications, which was a bit strange for a sales role. Then, I was moved to a skills testing room where I aced some basic questions on a basic computer. Afterwards, I had a 1:1 interview where they handed me my offer form. The whole process, before the lengthy form, took under an hour.
- Could you try to sell me your phone?
- What's your approach to handling rejection?
