After I went through 2 interviews and felt really good about them, before the 3rd one, I had to do a polygraph. Because of how that turned out, someone from the company interviewing me made some comments about my answers that really felt disrespectful and belittling. That made me decide to turn down the job, because I just felt it would be awkward working with someone who looks down on you for stuff you did when you were younger.

First round was fun/goofy/light hearted questions. Second round was resume/relevant experience. Third round was free 90 seconds to sell/express yourself. Some people talk about themselves, some people dance. They wanna see that you can carry conversation/have the personality to belong there and be personable/likeable. Final round was a mock service.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a big group hiring event where they were looking for energetic and social people. Then, some of us got called over to different stations for interviews. Station 1 was for behavioral questions, Station 2 was about experience and scheduling, and Station 3 was a roleplay where you had to act like a mock server based on your experience, needing to play the part well and show lots of energy.

They have a hiring event where you get to interact with others who have applied, they set up games that are based on teamwork and training leads walk around scoring how well you work as part of a team. Then you break off into groups and do some more team-based games. After the ice has been broken, it's time to do your interview with the managers of your venue. When you're done, you just wait to be called in the following days to say if you got hired or not.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you show me how you would perform the steps of service as if you were actually serving?
