Manager
I applied and was first contacted by an HR Recruiter. Then I met with the hiring manager, after which I was invited to the office for a very long day where I met with 7 leaders. It was a lot to take in, but I really wanted the position. After following up twice with HR, who promised to let me know when a decision was made, I stopped pursuing it.
- Have you ever helped roll out business finance programs?
Management
It's basically geared to the young crowd. The interview process is done in groups. You get and spend the first 30 minutes dancing around. Then you break into smaller groups and attempt to display talent as an innovator. From there you get 90 timed minutes to try to promote yourself above the herd. Definitely different.
- Why should we hire you over other candidates?
Office Manager
The interview process started with a phone call from the recruiter for an initial screening. Next, I had another phone interview with two people from the home office, where they asked more detailed questions about my experience related to the role. The final interview was in person with the Director of Operations, and it felt very comfortable and relaxed, mostly like a conversation rather than a strict Q&A.
- Can you describe how you handle multiple urgent deadlines simultaneously?
