The interview was pretty hard actually so they grilled me on sales asked me to pitch something that I didn’t have any knowledge on him and proceeded to reject me overall Not that good
- How would you sell this pen?
Marketing Consultant
The interview process involved a Zoom call and an in-person meeting. During the Zoom portion, a senior manager will discuss their sales experiences. Following this, candidates will have a one-on-one discussion with a senior marketing consultant in a separate Zoom breakout room.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Sales and Marketing Associate
We first met with a manager to talk about my past experiences and my aspirations for my career. The interviewer asked me to talk about myself, and after they got a feel for what I was aiming for, they explained that they are in search of someone. They prefer to hire people in entry-level positions so they can learn the fundamentals of the business. If they demonstrate sufficient skills and potential, they will be evaluated individually for opportunities to advance more quickly. The stages were: Sales/Marketing Associate, Team Leader, and Manager. Their typical hours are 11am to 8pm.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- What are your professional growth aspirations?
- What are your career goals?
Customer Service Representative
I got there 5 minutes early and called like I was supposed to, but it went to voicemail. So I waited another ten minutes before calling again (still waiting to be let in, and it had passed my interview time) and got a text saying they were in an important group conference call and to text unless extremely urgent. I texted my name and why I was there and got no response. After waiting a total of 20 minutes I was let inside and told to sit and wait. Another 30 minutes passed before I was interviewed- but not for the position I applied for/the one they contacted me about. They interviewed me for a commission based position in marketing, not the one in the ad. It was a quick, very vague interview and I wasn’t given time at the end to ask any questions, although I was invited back for a second interview which I will be emailing to politely decline.
