Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Acquisition Group.
Marketing Associate
The interview process was quite long and not very efficient. I was initially told I was applying for one specific job with a set salary. However, by the final interview, I discovered I was actually being considered for a different role entirely. The first two interviews were brief, only lasting about 10-15 minutes, and didn't feel particularly professional. There were no follow-up emails after these initial stages.
- Can you discuss your background?
Marketing Associate
This is the initial screening interview. It lasted about 15 minutes. The interviewer started with a quick company overview. Then, I introduced myself. The process concluded with details about the role. A subsequent interview is planned if my profile aligns with the position requirements.
- Where do you see yourself in five years?
Marketing Associate
A few days after I sent in my CV, I got an email asking me to do a quick video interview with one of the managers. If that went well, there would be another interview.
- What makes you want to join our company?
- How do you believe you fit this position?
