Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Acquisition Group.
Sales
It was good. They asked about my previous work experience and how I'd handle different situations. Then they told me about the job duties.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- What are your interests?
- What's your sales experience like?
Sales Representative
I applied online and got a call 2 days later. It was a pretty formal interview, I was actually underdressed. The HR Manager was very professional and nice. Most of the discussion was about typical questions like why this company, skills, and long-term goals. After the interview, you'll be informed if you made it to the second interview. I didn't go to the second interview though because a 100% commission-based job isn't ideal for my financial situation. But if you want to improve yourself, I really bet they can help. The interview questions were fine.
- How do you feel about constructive criticism?
Sales
This was a manipulative hiring process. They asked questions and background checks for their new sector. They offered you full OTE, but after 3 months they cut your base salary in half and pay you almost funny compensation.
- Can you answer typical sales questions?
- Tell me about your background.
- How would you handle a specific situation?
