Graduate Engineer
The interview process has two main parts. First, there's a chat with HR to get to know you, talk about your background, and see if you're a good fit. Then, you come to the office for a more technical part. This includes a group presentation to check how you work with others, communicate, and solve problems. After that, you'll get a psychometric test to take in a few days to see how you think and what your behavior is like.
- What key knowledge and skills did you acquire during your undergraduate and master’s studies, and in what ways do these qualifications differ from one another? How do you effectively manage multiple deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks? If you were to join the company, which position or department do you believe would be the best fit for you, and would you be open to working in a different department than the one you initially preferred?

Cost Controller
Technical skills assessment: know-how, reasoning, knowledge related to the job (e.g., in cost control, questions on performance indicators, budget monitoring, Excel/Power BI tools). Discussion on previous experiences, projects or studies related to the field. Sometimes a practical case or situational study to test logic or rigor. Goal: verify technical mastery and ability to adapt to the professional context.

Intern
I applied for the internship position on the Vagas.com website in July 2025 and didn't hear back until September. I completed logical reasoning and English tests and had interviews with both the recruiter and the hiring manager. The company is very slow in providing feedback between stages. I filled out a form for HR and never got a response. Given the time elapsed, I imagine it's a rejection, but the company's disregard for candidates is huge. From my perspective as a candidate, the interviews went well. They asked about my experiences and expectations. From a company of this size, the least one expects is an HR department minimally capable of delivering results and responses to candidates.
- What is your experience in the area?
Project Engineer
We start with an initial screening where HR will give you a call or a virtual meeting to go over your resume, talk about your experience, education, and any certifications you have. They'll check your basic understanding of ELV systems and ask about your salary expectations and when you can start. Then, there's a technical interview, either in person or virtual, with a panel. This is where we dive deep into ELV systems like CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA systems, BMS, etc., covering system design, integration, reading shop drawings and schematics, cable knowledge, relevant standards (NFPA, BICSI, BS, NEC), software like AutoCAD or MS Project, and troubleshooting. Sometimes, there might be an optional practical or case study part, which could be a written test or a live problem-solving session, like designing an ELV layout or fixing a schematic. Finally, you'll have a managerial round with the Project Manager or Department Head to discuss your project management experience, how you coordinate with MEP teams, your site execution skills, and your leadership abilities. If all goes well, we move to the offer stage where we finalize salary, sign the contract, and confirm your joining date.
