At Technicolor, the interview for a 3D Artist was pretty good and gave me a lot of insight. They looked at my portfolio, asked some technical stuff, and then we just chatted about how I solve creative problems and what I did before.

Technical Coding System Design

The hiring process was pretty thorough, with multiple rounds of interviews, covering management and technical aspects, plus a programming test to complete at home. Everyone I interacted with was really nice and considerate of my schedule. The whole thing took about a month and a half, which worked out fine since it was all done remotely. Not sure how it would translate on-site, but I don't see why the online interviews and tests can't continue long-term. It could even be better if it was faster, but obviously, that depends on a lot of things.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • Questions related to core language competency were asked.
  • Questions related to domain knowledge were asked.
  • Questions related to system design were asked.
