Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Technicolor.
3D Artist
This interview process was really smooth and enjoyable. It only took about two weeks to get an offer. I interviewed with the team lead, and the whole thing was pretty easy and went well. Everything about it felt very professional and ran smoothly.
- The whole experience was easy and good.
- From start to finish, everything about the interview process was smooth and professional.
3D Character Artist
The HR team was not helpful and unable to provide clear information. They gave a test focusing on texturing, but then the feedback was that the mesh and UVs provided by Technicolor themselves were problematic. This was confusing.
- What made you decide to pursue a career in the gaming industry?
Animator
The first step was a 1-on-1 chat with the supervisor to look over my demoreel. If that went well, I had to do a test, and then a phone call with the client. The last part was an HR chat about salary and then I got the offer.
- Can you share your experience?
- Could you detail previous projects you've been involved in?
- What software are you proficient in?
