Technical Behavioral Presentation

The process started with my resume being reviewed based on my grades and technical skills. Then, there was a technical interview covering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, and Manufacturing Processes. I had to talk about my past projects, covering the design approach, what materials I chose, and how I analyzed things. They also asked some questions about applying knowledge to car systems, engine parts, and how things are made. They checked how I solve problems, if I understand concepts well, and if I know how engineering is used in real life. After that, there was a short HR chat. This was followed by a background check and then the offer.

So first there was this online aptitude test that had logical reasoning and some basic tech questions. Then I had a technical round where they tested me on core subjects. The last step was an HR round. The people on the panel were nice and they seemed to check both my technical knowledge and how I solve problems.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Could you walk me through a project you completed during your final year?
  • In that project, how did you utilize engineering concepts to address real-world issues?

Technical Behavioral

The interview process involves two rounds of technical interviews, followed by a one-hour discussion about the offer. You can apply directly from their website and getting a call is pretty easy. The difficulty is medium, and they focus on scenario-based questions relevant to the data engineering role, rather than specific technical SQL or Python questions. It's important to discuss your notice period and CTC before the interview, as I've had instances where I cleared all rounds only to be rejected due to these factors.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Could you describe how you would approach a data engineering scenario?
  • Tell me about a data engineering problem you've encountered and how you solved it.
  • What are some common challenges in data engineering and how do you overcome them?
