The group interview took place at Target's head office in Williams Landing. It involved about 8-12 tables, each seating 4-6 people. A scenario-based question was presented, and everyone had to present their answer. I believe we were given an object and asked to brainstorm unique ways to use it, demonstrating our out-of-the-box thinking.

It took me about three weeks to hear back with a decision. The people interviewing me were really nice and seemed genuinely interested in my background. They're going to ask about your previous work experience. You should be ready to talk about what good customer service means to you and how you'd deal with different customer situations, like if a customer is being difficult or is unhappy.

I got an email to come in store for an interview. It turned out to be a group interview with 5 other people, which they didn't mention in the email. The interviewer was nice, open, and informative. We started with a game where we tossed a ball and had to name a Target item starting with the last letter of the previous answer. Then, we paired up and were given a scenario to discuss how we'd handle it, focusing on teamwork. After that, we had to sell an item to the interviewer. The group session lasted about an hour. Afterward, they pulled aside three of us, including me, for a one-on-one interview. In the one-on-one, the interviewer mainly asked about my past work experience, how I manage school and work, if I live nearby, and my ability to lift heavy items.
