Campaign Operations Manager
I had a really good interview experience with Grammarly. They were super clear about the timelines from the beginning, and the recruiter kept in touch really well throughout. After the first chat and my talk with the hiring manager, the recruiter actually explained what to expect in the main interviews, which was a first for me. That heads-up really helped me get ready and pick out my best experiences for each chat, making it more useful for everyone. The process also moved along really fast, week after week, which was pretty amazing considering it was around the holidays.

Customer Care Specialist
The interview process had a few steps, like a test and meetings with different people on the team. It was put together really well, clear, professional, and thoughtfully made. The team made the whole experience feel caring, supportive, and friendly. I always knew what was going on and felt supported. Their detailed method shows how much they care about candidates. I also felt valued for who I am; it was easy to just be myself. It was obvious the company is open-minded and wants to build a diverse, creative team that keeps making its strong culture even better.

Linguist
It was a well-organized and professional hiring process. We started with a recruiter call, then had a hiring manager chat where we talked about a past project that had a big impact and my background. After that, I had a take-home assignment that took a few hours and tested my linguistic analysis, annotation skills, and prompt design. They kept me updated throughout and gave me feedback after the take-home part. It was a thorough process overall, really looking for attention to detail, linguistic accuracy, and a good fit for the job.

Software Engineer
The interview started with a recruiter call, then a technical interview. The technical part was all Leetcode questions, with 4 questions in 50 minutes. I did them one by one, optimizing for space and time. It felt good at first, but after 3 questions, I was getting tired and wondered how these related to what Grammarly engineers actually do. They were not tailored to Grammarly's problems, just generic HackerRank questions. I finished the first three, including a DP approach for Climbing Stairs, but they still seemed unhappy with my fourth answer. I know hiring is tough, but this felt lazy and frustrating, making me just recite problems, DP tricks, and complexity. It just shows how much Leetcode you've grinded and how many tricks you know. You guys should really improve this, at least make it relevant to Grammarly's actual work. Based on these questions, I'm not sure you're solving your problems effectively if they aren't on Leetcode. I wouldn't recommend this process.
