The company called me to schedule an interview. The hiring manager seemed bothered that I showed up on time for our scheduled interview and appeared uninterested during our conversation, like she was just going through the motions. Her facial expressions were also unpleasant. I stayed to be polite, but she didn't bother to tell me if or when I'd hear back about a decision. I was just told goodbye and shown out. I didn't get hired, which I figured would happen given her attitude, and I never even got a rejection notice.

I applied online and got a call a few days later. The interview process was really nice and welcoming. Even though I get anxious, the interviewer made me feel comfortable. Since Spencer's are usually in malls, the interview was in a public seating area, which honestly made me feel less nervous. It was about 15 minutes long. I'm waiting to hear back, but wanted to share the questions while they're fresh in my mind.

I had two rounds of interviews lined up. The first round was supposed to be with the lead engineer, but they didn't show up at all, which felt like a waste of my time and all the prep I'd done. They said they'd reschedule, but I never heard back. When I followed up with the recruiter a few days later, they told me they'd already found someone else. So basically, I prepped for nothing and didn't even get a chance to interview. It was super unprofessional and really says a lot about the company.

The manager had us interview in the middle of the mall and did not wear a mask... the lack of privacy definitely made me feel uncomfortable. Most of the questions were "what would you do in this situation" type of thing, I wish I was asked more about my previous experience. The manager interviewing me would move onto the next question before I even finished answering the question. I feel like I had much to share and wanted to show off so to speak and didn't get the opportunity to do that. All just weird and unprofessional and uncomfortable.
