Behavioral Case

The manager had us interview in the middle of the mall and did not wear a mask... the lack of privacy definitely made me feel uncomfortable. Most of the questions were "what would you do in this situation" type of thing, I wish I was asked more about my previous experience. The manager interviewing me would move onto the next question before I even finished answering the question. I feel like I had much to share and wanted to show off so to speak and didn't get the opportunity to do that. All just weird and unprofessional and uncomfortable.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • How would you prevent internal and external shrink?
  • Are you comfortable selling items from the "back wall"?

Behavioral Technical

The process is a bit long but pretty simple. You'll do an online application and answer some questions about your past jobs. Then you'll have an interview, followed by a second interview. After that, there's a background check and reference calls, and then you get hired. If you're interviewing for a sales supervisor role, you'll usually interview with an AM and an SM, and sometimes the DSM. Even if you don't interview with the DSM, they have the final decision. For AM roles, you interview with the SM and DSM, and maybe a regional manager depending on the store. Then you do the background and reference checks. Just a heads-up, this whole thing can take up to a month, and they definitely call references, so have at least 3 ready.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • My DSM asked me to go over my entire work history, so be ready to remember details about all your past jobs.
