They have you do a design exercise as part of the interview process, which is a good way to screen people. However, the amount of time needed to prepare for it before really understanding the company or role felt a bit out of order. I worked with a recruiter at the time and felt like the usual information about a workplace was kept pretty vague until after I completed the design exercise. By then, it was obvious the role wasn't going to be a good fit.

Behavioral

The interview was pretty chill and easy, which made it a lot less stressful. It felt structured but not too rigid. Everyone was really nice and easy to talk to, which definitely helped calm my nerves. They started by just chatting to get to know me, more like a normal conversation than an interrogation. The questions were on point but not super technical or difficult. They seemed more interested in how I approach things than if I had perfect answers.

It went great, immediately got a second interview, immediately got the job offer. It was sitting mid November but they weren’t open yet. I asked before signing papers if I could start a certain date as I was going out of town. They said it would not be a problem. They ghosted me, finally I got them on the phone after a week of trying, they said my position was replaced bc I couldn’t work. I explained that I asked and if I would have know I would have canceled my flight. Kicker. They still posted for months on indeed and other sites looking for my position. Very unprofessional

The first interview was on-site and was great, very informative. The second interview involved creating and presenting a sales deck. It went well, leading to the final round. The final interview felt a bit strange; the interviewer didn't seem familiar with my resume or presentation, and asked questions already covered in the first interview. This isn't typical for a final round, and I felt discouraged. After that, I was ghosted for a month despite reaching out multiple times. Eventually, I was told the role was being rewritten and I could reapply, which was really upsetting considering the time I put into the deck. I never received the revised role description or further contact.
