It was a multi-stage process where they looked at my skills, experience, and if I'd fit into the company culture. First, they reviewed my application and had a quick phone/video chat. Then, there were a few interview rounds, some on the phone and some virtual, where they asked about my skills, past experience, and how I'd handle different situations. They also gave me a skills test and did a background check.

It was a round table thing with 5 of us interviewing. I don't mind group interviews, they actually make me feel more comfortable knowing others are just as nervous. I did pretty good, and they offered me the job.

Nothing too hard or advanced, it felt more like a casual chat about tech than a tough test. All in all, it was a straightforward process with no surprises.

The interview process was pretty simple. It started with a phone screen with the recruiter, then a virtual chat with the director or hiring manager. After that, I went to their headquarters in Charlotte, NC for an on-site interview where I met and talked with 6 other people on the team. The very last step was a 1-on-1 chat with the director. It was a pretty smooth process overall, taking about 3-4 weeks. I was pretty sure I'd get the job, but then they had a restructuring and the role wasn't needed anymore.
