Pharmacy Assistant
I applied online and then got a phone call inviting me for an in-person interview a few weeks later. I met with the pharmacy owner, and we talked. She started with general questions like 'tell me about yourself' and asked about my relevant experience for pharmacy work. Then she asked some situational questions, such as how I would handle prioritizing tasks during a busy period. Finally, I had to fill out a form with some basic math and chemistry questions. I heard back about a week after the interview, and they offered me the job.
- In the case of a rush hour, how would you prioritize medication handling/distribution?
Merchandiser
They asked about my availability for working days and some questions about my previous experience. I also gave a tour of the store. HR asked about past difficulties and challenges. There were also situational questions. It was all pretty straightforward and to the point, nothing too tricky. They also gave me a tour of the store and explained the daily operations. Good luck!
- What are your available working days and what is your past experience?
- Tell me about your past experience.
Beauty Consultant
This interview was pretty chill and straightforward. You'll need to be ready to pitch a product that management picks out to show off your sales skills. Since the Beauty Advisor role includes monthly commission, your sales performance is super important. The job requires strong multitasking, time management, and communication abilities, so make sure to highlight these during your interview. Their main focus is making sure you hit your sales goals every shift. So, be proactive and learn all about the brands they carry in the beauty section.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your interest in the cosmetic department?
- Could you demonstrate your selling techniques by pitching a randomly selected product?
- How do your multitasking, time management, and communication skills align with the needs of a Beauty Advisor role, especially considering the commission-based pay structure?
Pharmacy Assistant
I was asked about my past work experiences. They wanted to know if I knew about the software and processes used. They also asked about my knowledge of the job duties for a Pharmacy Assistant. They asked again about my availability and if I could work weekends.
- Tell me about your experience.
