First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Shoppers Drug Mart.
Cashier
I had a chat with the Front Store Manager. She asked me some questions and took notes. She was really nice and let me know about the next steps promptly. She asked for references, and after I gave them, I received my offer.
- Tell me about your availability.
- What salary are you expecting?
- Describe your previous work experience.
Store Associate
So, after I applied online, I got a call pretty fast, like within a week, to set up an in-person interview. The manager met with me, and we talked for about half an hour. They asked about when I could work, what my customer service background was like, and how I'd deal with difficult customers or being swamped. They also had me go over my resume. I heard back with a job offer in about 3 business days.
- Tell me about a situation where you had to juggle many things at once, for example, assisting a shopper while also putting stock out or managing the checkout queue.
Personal Shopper
The interview process was fine; I had no complaints and we were polite to each other. It was pretty quick and not super detailed. They asked basic questions and then I was on my way. I never heard back.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
