It was a single interview plus a quiz on accounting. Then they called everyone on my reference list and offered me the job, explaining what they expected.

I applied online and a recruiter from head office reached out within days. We talked about the job I applied for and other potential roles. They explained why I wasn't a fit for the first role and suggested another that they thought would be a better match, mentioning future opportunities. It was a really good first chat, and we scheduled a phone interview for the new position. The phone interview was about 45 minutes and felt like a real conversation, not just Q&A. They asked about my management style, leadership, strengths, weaknesses, problem-solving, failures, and successes, plus my career goals. Some questions were simple, others situational, some needed examples. It was well-balanced and flowed nicely. The recruiter let me know my info went to a local store, and the Store Manager would contact me for an in-person interview. The in-store interview was with the Store Manager and Owner, mainly the Manager, and lasted about 2.5 hours. It went well, with similar questions and some specific to that store. Again, it was a good back-and-forth. The Store Manager said I interviewed great. After that, I had to do an online questionnaire with about 100 questions. I didn't get the job at that store, but I was disappointed. I got a lot of positive feedback, and apparently, they didn't give up on me. A few days later, I emailed the recruiter to ask about other stores. Turns out, she had already sent my info to other stores and talked to them about me. I got another interview with a Store Manager and Owner, who had my info from the first store with a recommendation. That was amazing! After a few days of disappointment, I found out the company was actively trying to place me. Another great interview, and two days later, I got the offer! I accepted immediately. It took about a month from start to finish, involving head office, multiple stores, and coordinating schedules. It was definitely worth the wait, and everyone was incredibly professional and dedicated.

They really just want to know if you're a people person since you'll be leading a team. Also, if you're somewhat number savvy because you'll be helping with financial resources. Overall, if you have a good personality and aren't afraid to speak up and explain things for basic questions, you could work here.
