Behavioral Technical

So for the Shaw technical support job, there were two rounds of interviews. The first was a phone call or video chat where they asked a bunch of behavioural questions to see how I’d handle things like angry customers or fixing problems when things get hectic. The second round went deeper, asking about specific situations and some basic tech stuff to check if I was good with regular support tasks. It was pretty simple and fast, like the whole thing from applying to getting the offer took just a few days.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Describe a situation where you had to manage a difficult customer who was upset. What steps did you take, and what happened in the end?

Behavioral

The interview process used to primarily focus on behavioral questions and asking for examples of past projects, suggesting the STAR method. However, the team is now more selective, seeking candidates with more IT experience in the Telco sector due to increased competition. It's advisable to review the company's product offerings.

Behavioral

The leadership seemed horrible and they offered a very low starting wage. Even though they clearly have a team, it felt like they were just trying to fill desks rather than offer real long-term employment. I didn't feel like I'd be treated like a person if I worked there.

  • Tell me about your past jobs and why they fit this position.
