The interview process was pretty long for an entry-level job. I had three separate interviews, moving up the chain until the final one where I met with three people: two managers and one director. It took over a month from the start of the process to get an offer, and then another two weeks until my start date. Communication from the company wasn't always consistent, but I guess that's pretty standard when you're interviewing. The interviews themselves were fair and insightful, and everyone I met was really nice.

The interview experience was amateurish with no great questions asked. The manager seemed uncomfortable and inexperienced, deflecting direct salary range questions by stating they weren't advertised. Despite talking about company philosophy, basic courtesy regarding salary ranges was seemingly broken. The manager was unable to provide specific details about the department's outlook and direction. When asked about the team's dynamic, the response was vague, with a redirection to my ability to work in diverse groups. No timeline for the decision process was provided. After four weeks, I was informed that approval for the position was still needed. When asked about an offer, I was told I was 'in the running.' The ethics were poor, as a contractor was hired for a full-time role. About four more weeks later, I received a non-negotiable offer. Unsure why I accepted.
