Customer Success Manager
The interview process was long and took months, starting in early December 2025 and not getting a response until late March. It included a personality assessment and long waits between interviews. Three interviews were scheduled for one day, but two were cancelled last minute by the interviewers. It took weeks to reschedule them. After the final interview, communication ceased. The recruiter was largely unresponsive for the three months, with no check-ins, updates, or apologies for delays, just silence. Ultimately, no specific feedback was provided, only an automated request for feedback four weeks after the last interview. While most interviewers were good, the Head of HR's interview felt like an interrogation.
- Could you share your greatest strength and your greatest weakness?
- Why are you interested in joining SecurityScorecard?
- How did you learn about our company?
Product Manager
Connected through an outside recruiter, the interview process at SecurityScorecard began with a recruiter from the company. I went through four 30-minute interviews: with a recruiter, the hiring manager, a potential coworker, and an HR person for culture fit. I also had to do a cognitive test and a behavioral test. In total, I spent about 7 hours on interviews, prep, scheduling, and testing. The interviews themselves felt positive and not too difficult. What really bothered me and why I'd never recommend this company is how it ended. After feeling a good connection, I was told by the outside recruiter, not SecurityScorecard, that they were passing on me, with no feedback or reason. They didn't even have the guts to tell me directly. I guess I'm glad I didn't end up there, especially after reading company reviews and hearing the CEO is difficult to work with. If you want to be treated like a person, I wouldn't recommend this place.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- When facing uncertainty and competing priorities, how do you go about creating a product roadmap?
Engineering Director
The interview process was quite straightforward, involving a few meetings with different leaders over a couple of weeks. I was disappointed because after dedicating several weeks to interviewing, and with all interviewers indicating they were happy with me at the end of our conversations, I received a generic email stating they weren't moving forward. This felt unprofessional and disrespectful to candidates. At the very least, I expected a phone call and some kind of discussion about their decision.
- Can you discuss your past experience?
- What is your background?
- What aspects of work tend to frustrate you?
Field Sales Director
The interview process at SecurityScorecard was really great and felt super professional and organized. They really thought about how to structure it. What was cool was how they designed the interviews — they clearly care about transparency and making sure people fit the culture, not just if they have the skills. I talked to people from all over the company, from the top bosses to people I might work with every day. Every chat gave me a different view of what SecurityScorecard is all about, their culture, and what it's like to work there day-to-day. It gave me a good overall picture and made me feel like this is a place that really means it when they talk about their values, not just saying it.
- Which types of companies do you think would gain the most from using Security Scorecard?
