First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SecurityScorecard.
Product Manager
Connected through an outside recruiter, the interview process at SecurityScorecard began with a recruiter from the company. I went through four 30-minute interviews: with a recruiter, the hiring manager, a potential coworker, and an HR person for culture fit. I also had to do a cognitive test and a behavioral test. In total, I spent about 7 hours on interviews, prep, scheduling, and testing. The interviews themselves felt positive and not too difficult. What really bothered me and why I'd never recommend this company is how it ended. After feeling a good connection, I was told by the outside recruiter, not SecurityScorecard, that they were passing on me, with no feedback or reason. They didn't even have the guts to tell me directly. I guess I'm glad I didn't end up there, especially after reading company reviews and hearing the CEO is difficult to work with. If you want to be treated like a person, I wouldn't recommend this place.

- When facing uncertainty and competing priorities, how do you go about creating a product roadmap?
Product Manager
An external recruiter from Giledan search contacted me about a potential PM role, but they were unsure about the level. The interview process took over two months and spanned multiple rounds, with each stage revealed only after completion. It felt like a disorganized effort. A presentation to a panel about a past project was also part of it. Throughout this time, the recruiter assured me the company was impressed with me. There was no internal recruiter, just an interview coordinator. After the final round, I was told everything went well and to expect 'next steps' soon. The recruiter even started talking salary specifics. Ultimately, I heard nothing from the company. The recruiter then texted that I was rejected, without any explanation. My request for a call to get more details was unmet, with a promised evening call not happening. It was a terrible interview experience, especially given the time commitment expected from candidates.
- Can you share details about your previous experiences?
- Please provide a description of a project you have worked on.
Product Manager
The initial screening call went well. The interviewer was on time, communicated clearly, and asked relevant questions. I was informed I'd advance to the next stage, but haven't heard back since, even after reaching out.
- What makes you want to work for this company?
