Recruiter
The interview was scheduled and then cancelled a few times over a couple of weeks. Then, before we even had the interview, they cancelled it altogether because the role was closing. Super weird.

Executive Recruiter
Applied online and then had an initial conversation with the recruiter. He was really not welcoming and kind of cold - honestly, if they had asked me to move forward I would have said no. It was also hard to hear him because his kids were screaming in the background, and he never even apologized for it. He got annoyed when I had to ask him to repeat himself. He didn't seem to have any people skills and just said 'okay' to everything I said. I was surprised this is how they present their talent team. He only seemed engaged when I asked him questions about himself. It was a terrible experience; as a recruiter myself, I think it's important to make candidates feel welcome and excited about the company. He was rude and inconsiderate, regardless of whether I was a good fit. When I asked about the hiring process, he mentioned meeting other recruiters but said the final decision was his and he had the ultimate say. It makes you wonder why other people are involved if their opinions don't matter. Seemed like a power trip. Hopefully, they use this feedback for a better candidate first impression.
- What kind of feedback would past managers give you?
Talent Acquisition Coordinator
After I applied, I had an initial screen where I highlighted my experience. Right after, I was given a take home assignment that surrounded scheduling and coordinating. I met with two recruiters, then was finally passed on to the VP. It was really smooth, they contacted me quickly and kept me continuously in the loop between applying and my offer. The process lasted between 2 and 3 weeks, so actually pretty quick. The questions surrounded my experience and topics relating to the role, as well as some typical interview questions.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What are your weaknesses and what would you need to improve on?
