First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.
Graphic Designer
Applied for the job and heard back months later for a quick 15-min prescreen call to check my background and interest. They offered me an in-person interview after that. I showed up early for the second interview, but the interviewer was late. It was a STAR format interview with a few questions. They said I'd hear back soon either way, but I never did.
- Tell me about a time you struggled to work with a manager or coworker.
Technical Director
Got a call back two months after applying. It felt like the department's actual needs didn't match the HR posting, making the conversation a bit weird because the job turned out to be different than described. However, we had a good chat about other roles I might fit, even though I didn't apply for those. Seems like HR needs to get organized.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Project Manager
There was a phone interview and then a face-to-face meeting, with a total of 3 rounds before getting an offer. The interviewers were really nice and open to chatting. The salaries are great, and they also require a written test and a health check, plus a background check before you can join the company.
- Can you tell me about your experience duration as a project manager?
Zoological Specialist
They started by explaining the interview process and the job to confirm I was interviewing for the right position. Then I was asked to give an overview of my experience. After that, they asked about 3 HR type questions about times you asked for help or made a mistake, things of that nature. The final questions, about 3 again, were more specific to the department, specifically about the workings of aquarium systems, the water and chemical cycles, and quarantining animals. Then I was given the opportunity to ask any questions. Fairly straight forward and they were very professional and kind.
- Tell me about a mistake you made and how you corrected it.
