Content Marketing Specialist
I applied through LinkedIn and was first contacted by HR for a short phone call. After that, I had a video call with the manager. They mentioned there would be 4 rounds in total and the whole process could take over a month, which I felt was excessive but that's how things are these days. Unfortunately, I never heard back after the second interview. I tried reaching out to HR but was ghosted. It's really the bare minimum to send a quick email back, even if you've decided to go with someone else. Please improve this; it's ridiculous and takes no time at all to send an email. 0/10 would not recommend applying to Relias.

The whole hiring process was crazy. The HR person didn't know what was going on with current company policies. I had to do an online personality test, which I think is a waste of time for figuring out if someone's qualified. Then, I had a really unprofessional video interview with the hiring manager. After that, I was asked to come in and give a presentation to the team. I didn't get clear instructions on what they wanted or had very little time. The hiring manager was late and spent too much time showing me around instead of letting me get set up. They forgot to give me wifi access, so my time with the team was cut short. I did okay in the in-person interview and got an offer. When I asked for a bit more salary to match industry standards for my seniority, HR kept bragging about their benefits and said I should be thankful. They bumped it up by 5.5%, and I accepted, but I regret it. The place was toxic with bad leaders and way too much politics. HR is all about themselves. Racism and ableism come from the top of HR. I left after a few months, but it was awful while I was there.

The interview process was one of the worst I've seen in over 20 years. Initially, the recruiter call went well, but then there was a two-week silence from both the recruiter and Relias regarding feedback. Following that, they wanted to schedule an in-person interview a month after the initial call, with no prior feedback. The in-person interview itself was positive, but I never heard back afterwards. The recruiter mentioned that their meetings with Relias kept getting postponed. After a month of no communication, I checked with the recruiter for an update, and they had none. Relias should be more professional and provide feedback, whether positive or negative.

Had a good interview process, overall. Including the recruiter, there were four interviews in total, each about 30-40 minutes long, spread out over a month. There was a little confusion at the start with the recruiter meeting, but it got sorted out. All interviews were conducted professionally and on time. I also had to submit a writing sample. Even though I got through all the interviews, I didn't end up getting the job. I did reach out afterwards to ask about what I could have done better, but unfortunately, I didn't get any feedback. Moving on to find other opportunities!
