Sales Representative
Relias really takes the time to make sure you are a good fit for their company. The first step in the process is taking a personality test and cognitive assessment. If you do well, you will be invited to do a phone interview with a recruiter. After the phone interview, if chosen to move forward to the next step, you have to take that same cognitive assessment again over webcam with the recruiter so they can validate that it is you taking it without assistance. If you get past all those steps the final step is an in-person interview with the sales managers where you'll have to do a discovery call role play and prepare a pitch using a powerpoint presentation they send you. Long process with many steps, but it was worth it.
- What motivates you to pursue a career in Sales?
- Can you tell me about a challenging situation you faced at work and how you navigated it?
- Could you role-play a discovery call?
Sales
The interview process was really long, I met with 5 different managers. It felt like I was applying for the FBI. They told me they had too much business and were expanding their sales team, but honestly, there's a lot of turnover and they just need to fill open spots. They're liars.
- What would you say is your greatest weakness?
- Can you give an example of a successful sale you made?
Sales
The process began with a 30-minute standardized assessment test to check qualifications for an interview. I don't think it's the best way for a company to start hiring. It feels weird to ask a client to take a test before buying a product.
- A series of logic-based questions were asked during the assessment test, and none were particularly challenging.
