First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Parexel.
CMC Scientist
First, I spoke with the manager at Parexel for 30 minutes. She gave me some advice on how to make my resume better before they sent it to the hiring manager for the onsite interview. Then, I had a 1-hour panel interview with the Merck team on-site.
- What motivates you to apply for this role?
- Could you explain the principle behind DLS?
Executive Assistant
Had an initial interview with local HR for a screening, followed by a second interview with the hiring manager in the USA. Then, I was contacted by the team in Argentina to let me know they moved forward with another candidate.
- What is your previous work experience?
- What is your hourly availability?
Clinical Research Associate
A friend recommended me for a position, they called me and then I had two interviews. The first was with HR, then with a senior person. In the second, they told me they would like me to work there. Then they contacted me to explain start dates and other details.
- Tell me about your prior experience.
- As I had just graduated as a doctor, they asked me if I had plans to do a residency.
Regulatory Affairs Associate
I got referred and got an interview invite two days later. The phone interview went fine, and they said I'd hear back in two weeks. I waited 4 weeks and asked about my application status. They still had nothing to declare. After another 10 days, I asked again and got a rejection email 10 minutes later. The reason given was that they had a lot of applicants and were looking for the best. I understood that (I guess I wasn't good enough) and was okay with it. The weird part is that the job was posted again on LinkedIn the day after I got rejected. Definitely won't waste my time with Paraxel again.
- What's your reason for leaving your current role?
