Principal Software Engineer
The interview process started with a call from Naukri, leading to an in-person visit to the Hyderabad office. Although interviews were scheduled for 10 AM, they actually began at 12:30 PM, causing a significant delay and making some candidates leave due to poor organization. My first round, which combined R1 and R3 due to a panel shortage, was cleared. Afterward, I had another onsite interview on a weekday. During this time, HR assured me that my salary expectations were not an issue. I cleared this second onsite interview as well. Subsequently, I had a technical interview with the CTO, which seemed to go very well. The HR again expressed strong interest in hiring me, highlighting my strong profile and confirming no issues with the package. This positive feedback contrasted sharply with the initial 2.5-hour delay. Following this, there was email communication with HR regarding documents and offer letter preparation, which also included salary negotiations. This negotiation was surprising given the earlier assurances about compensation, and I eventually agreed to their offered package, although it was disheartening. About 1.5 months later, an HR from Adecco contacted me for a background check with current references before the offer was finalized. This was unexpected, as background checks usually happen after leaving a job, but I provided my references. The next day, I received an offer from the hiring HR, but the compensation was lower than expected and included a joining bonus. Later, Adecco, a hiring consultancy, contacted me offering the same role with my initial salary expectation, which made me realize I would have been at a significant financial loss if I had resigned based on the negotiated offer. This entire experience felt like a waste of time.

Software Engineer
so basically they conducted a written test initially, which was for 1hr, asking 12 questions related to programming basics, SQL queries, and some logical questions. After one week, they shortlisted the qualified people, and I was one of them. They asked for my resume, and after 3 days, they conducted a technical interview. The interview was easy and depended on how I handled it. They mainly asked about the project I developed for academics, and most questions were about the project. So, prepare well and have a good idea about your project. They also asked me to tell them something about Paraxel, why I want to be a software engineer, and what a static method is. The interview lasted about half an hour. I wasn't selected, but a friend of mine got selected and is working there now. The main thing in any interview is to present everything confidently and clearly, and luck also plays a major role. All the best!
- An unexpected thing is that someone from the U.S. might listen in during the technical round and ask questions in the middle, and their slang is very difficult to understand.
Software Engineer
I sent in my application via linkedin and heard back from a recruiter who set up a technical interview. It was with three people. They asked a lot of database stuff like Joins, normalization, auto increment, select and insert queries. Then they asked about my projects, the stuff I built, and made sure I knew it well. Then some Core Java questions and a coding problem to find if two strings are anagrams. I also had to write get mapping and post mapping APIs and answer questions on hibernate. I didn't get through this round, and they sent a rejection email about two weeks later.
- How do you find the anagram of two strings in Java?
