Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Parexel.
Contract Specialist
It was a long process, taking over two months. There were about 6 or 7 interviews in total, with 2 in person and 4 or 5 over the phone. The interviewers were nice, and most interviews felt like casual chats. But, the whole thing seemed disorganized. They didn't get back to me when they said they would, and there were communication problems between staff. After all that time, all those interviews, and my follow-up calls and emails, they hired someone from within the company. It was disappointing.
- Tell me about your background.
- What would you do in certain hypothetical situations?
Contract Manager
It was straightforward. I was contacted by the recruiter and had a 30-60 minute review with them. The interview went well, discussing responsibilities and the summary of the position and my knowledge. My salary request was too high, which is common in this industry and matches my current pay. Overall, it was a pleasant, conversational experience.
- Tell me about the standard process for site contract management.
- Can you show me some specific Excel formulas for contract management?
Contract Manager
I had a phone interview with HR and someone from the contracts team. After that, I spoke with three more people from different departments. The last interview was in person with the hiring manager and the regional lead.
