So I interviewed with Oxy for a job I was really excited about. Things started off well with the Talent Acquisition team, and the first interview seemed standard, two people from the team, and I actually liked it. But then, after the third and final interview, things went south. That interview went well too, and they said I'd hear back in two weeks. That was three months ago, and I haven't heard anything at all, not even a rejection email. It's just really unprofessional and disrespectful given how much time I put into it. I get that not everyone gets picked, but a simple update is crucial, especially after getting to the final round. Leaving candidates hanging is bad for the company's reputation. Honestly, I'm super disappointed with Oxy's lack of seriousness and professionalism. I expected more. I can't recommend them as an employer because of how they treated me. Job seekers deserve better. Hopefully, they'll change their communication process for future applicants.
